Sewing Project – Christiana NICU quilts for isolettes
Ladybug contact person is: Peggy Rosa, mrosa22@comcast.net
Other contact person (not affiliated with Ladybug): Dianne Beaty, 302-239-6094
NICU needs baby blankets 30” X 36” (one side plain fabric) to be used on top of isolettes. The plain side faces the infant during unstimulated time. The fancy side faces the infant during stimulated time. The tops can be any pattern you choose, not just squares. The overall size is the critical number.
Quick & EZ Block-Style Instructions: Cut 30 6.5” blocks. Sew together in a 5 X 6 block arrangement to make a 30” x 36” quilt top. Finish as desired with a plain solid backing. A really quick idea is to use a whole cloth print for the top!
